I've only worn them a couple of times, but so far these shoes have not disappointed. The fit is exactly as expected; the materials and construction appear to meet Giro's typically excellent standard.I was pleasantly surprised by the Vibram outsole. When I took the shoes out of the box the rubber outsole felt firmer than I expected; it felt more like the hard nylon lugs tupically on MTB shoes and less like the sneaker type outsole on my other, more casual, Giros. Walking around though and there is ample traction, including walking on laminate flooring in wet shoes.As it is still a cold and wet March as I write this I am interested to see how well the shoes breathe in the summer heat. I have already worn these shoes a couple times in light/medium rain and both times my feet were warm and dry when I reached my destination (7.5 miles/45 minutes). If nothing else I can see these becoming Spring/Fall/Winter (with shoe covers) shoes.
