I am impressed with these shoes. It is difficult to find reasonably priced shoes in your size and in stock. After much debate, I pulled the trigger on these. Glad I did. The most striking features are the light weight and sole stiffness. The Boa system is really nice and it is easy to dial into your fit. The shoes fit perfectly. I am typically a 45. I ordered a 45. The shoes have a fairly wide standard fit which makes them comfortable. If I wanted to nit pick, I would say that the tongue is slightly oversized and that can cause some issues with your comfort on the top of the shoe, but you just need to be careful that the tongue is in a good position when you cinch the Boa.My last set of shoes had/has three velcro straps per shoe, and didn't fit me as well as they could have in the front. I had first found that Giro cycling shoes - at least this style - fit narrower than the standard D-width shoes of other companies by trying a version of the Trans Boa on at a local Performance Bike store. The thing about the version PB carries is that they are more of just a polymer sole instead of a carbon/glass Easton 70 sole. The narrow-er fitting Giro is perfect for my feet, and is lighter than my old shoes. One of the things I also wanted to get away from was the velcro straps doing most of the holding-work. Velcro, over long rides, does seem to 'give' a little, and it certainly does wear with each use. The advantage of a Boa system, if I understand it correctly, is that the parts are replaceable. The bottom velcro strap doesn't really hold much of the load/pressure, so I don't mind having one velcro strap at the front.Great shoe but sized on the small side. Their chart said a 10 was 43.5 to 44.5 But It’s really a 43.5. I would go a size larger when ordering especially if width is a concern. The next size up for me is unavailable so I will deal with these and hope they stretch out on the sides. All else is great. This cycle shoe fit like a glove and sized exactly per the chart. I ride 4-5 times a week and am very pleased with the quality. Highly recommend this shoe.Great shoes. Had giros before in similar model lasted four years and 40,000 km. First pair had a faulty insert for the cleats. Had them replaced and second set is fineShoes fit and are comfortable EXCEPT for the BOA closure. The uppermost wire closure at the ankle has FAR too flimsy tongue padding below it and will soon become uncomfortable if you tighten the shoe and ride for any distance. I've even tried padding the tongue with moleskin and ensuring all my socks cover well beyond the wire closure location to maximize additional padding, but the wire still cuts on even a 15 mile ride. The rest of the shoe is OK, but the closure fails because the tongue design is probably very inexpensive to produce, but is far too thin to properly protect the ankle from the garrotte of the uppermost wire.I would not purchase again because of the closure, even on sale from the Giro store, itself.I'm tempted to go back to a pair of 6 year old Bontrager shoes and save these 'replacement' shoes as the spares in case of a failure on the Bontrager ratchet and velcro strip closures or the body of the shoe.Amazing road bike shoes!!Product was received in good condition. The design is nice, and the fitting is perfect.Habe den Schuh eine Nummer größer genommen. Was soll man sagen, er passt perfekt.
